Marble Tubes - The Lamp

Blocks of white Makrana marble are hollowed out into individual tubes of 6mm thickness, allowing for light to pass through and the surface of each is further hand-carved by Jaipur artisans. The tube is then fitted with strip LEDs, their light passing through the carved texture in varying degrees, creating a unique effect and serving as the base, while a fluted lampshade in either white or black marble finishes off the piece. As opposed to a conventional table lamp, in this case it is the base of the fixture that illuminates, as opposed to the shade atop it.

The Marble Tube Lamp is available in both smooth marble and carved finishes, with added customisable detailing. The fixtures are made of solid brass and engraved with the studio logo.
